Public School Officials Get it Right (For Once)

-Martin Kite-Powell

For once, administrators get it right. Usually we criticize them because of the prevalent fear of maleness within the school system, such as when boys draw pictures of guns and army men and wind up getting suspended. This time though, officials were probably spot-on.

Though we don’t know all of the details, the arrests were brought about by a picture drawn by the two boys taken into custody. The picture depicts the two boys committing bloody murder against a third student and was drawn specifically to show the third student what they intended to do to him, according to officials.

Regardless of the details, we do know these two children needed to be punished and removed from school for this. At the very least I would expect they be expelled. Let’s hope that Liberalism doesn’t interfere with justice and the safety of this third little boy.

This sort of thing goes on in the schools more than most people think.
