A Time to Yearn and Work for the Return of Justice

Jessica Lunsford, age 9, official documents now show, was raped and buried alive while clutching a purple stuffed animal.

Why?

Because for years liberal, morally weak and corrupt judges, lawyers, politicians and policies allowed repeat violent sex offenders including the animal John Evander Couey to walk free after only slaps on the wrist, when instead each one's first offense should have been their last.

Because common sense and a higher law which dictates our own have long been escorted out of our judicial system.

Because justice and mercy for the innocent were once replaced with sensitivity and hand-wringing for the feelings of the convict.

Because most in the electorate still do nothing.

Truly, where there is no justice the people mourn.

May God comfort the Lunsford family - their baby is now in Heaven. Maybe we'll decide it's time to protect the rest.

This is such, SUCH a horrific and unspeakably sad story. It's sickening, too. And folks wonder why some of us are a bit peevish about our court and judicial system? Hey, what's one more innocent little life destroyed?

*hiss*
