Notes from the Garden Journal: Flush the ACLU

Round Two of Victimized Gitmo Qurans

Today round two of the famous Gitmo quran kid-glove controversy rings in with word from the Pentagon some qurans were actually splashed with water and in most other instances tweaked, poked and molested by… Mohammedan inmates, which the Washington Post article clearly tries to avoid directly mentioning as such a fact might interfere with the Post’s preferred agenda.

THE ACLU chimed in during round one  when it was alleged by Newsweek qurans went apparently un-pampered in cells in Guantanamo Bay. But there seems little doubt to me that the duplicitous ACLU just revealed its vulnerable flank.

If the book in question had been a bible there is no doubt the ACLU would be upset the government was using tax-payer dollars to "distribute religious materials". But the ACLU apparently feels there is no existing wall of separation for mosque and state.

The ACLU also strangely silent over the wonton burning or shredding of personal bibles confiscated by Saudi officials from Americans happening to visit the little tyranny.

The ACLU, as we all have come to know and love it, has been in the business of banning bibles, Santa Clauses and even little green and red napkins since its insidious founding 80 years ago.

All of this of course begs the question of Why the ACLU would essentially endorse one religion while giving another no quarter … you know, beyond the ideological rants of its founders against Christianity and our Republic during the days of its founding.

And once we acknowledge the unnecessary answer to that question perhaps we can also visit the related conundrum that if Allah is such a violent figure as the radicals say, why doesn't he just come down and strike the Gitmo guards and other infidels with lightning?

The ACLU is a terror-enabling organization. Their degree of Christian hate is only equal to their love of anything anti-American, and in this case, Islamofascists. It's time to start rounding up these "insurgents" that operate within our own US borders.
