So Hollyweird Flew the Coop

It's easy to predict a clone

You know, I almost let this one slip past without comment. In point of fact, Cindy Sheehan (who legally disowned her son before he even went to Iraq) is such an unimportant figure in my life, I forgot completely that I had erlier lowered myself to mention her at this humble blog.

But somehow I had.

On the 18th of last August I predicted Cindy would be getting a movie deal-handout from the loyal left in Hollyweird:

If you think the mainstream media have gone all-out in promoting the obscure radical leftist Cindy Sheehan, just wait until they announce the movie deal.

Seven months later almost to the day I was proven to be correct.

Of course the question isn’t anything to do with an apparent clairvoyance or fingerspitzegefühle with which I read the writing on the wall, but rather, a matter of who was left who didn’t see it coming (which weren't very many), and how sad it is that the liberal media thinks itself clever. The left knew the movie was coming because they run most of big media, and I think most of us knew to expect it given Hollyweird’s obsession with trying to cram their ideology and perverse way of living down our throats (because you know, their lives as evidenced in numerous accounts are the pinnacle of mental and emotional functionality).

So the Sheehan fiasco is nothing new, neither is Hollyweird’s prima facie concern with the lives of members of our military until it no longer suits them.

Sometimes I wish the media imams could hear the spontaneous response of the public to their silly strong-arm overtures. In the homes of countless Americans when news of another leftwing gag-flick coming down the pike is heard, I wish Hollyweird could in turn hear the collective dismissive chuckle, or the car crash curiosity. Or our expressed delight in the token family-friendly or pro-religious values film that manages to “get past the censors” grossing millions more than any of the trash otherwise “created”. Delight almost in likeness to that for a baby’s first steps. But those media types are notorious for misunderstanding rejection or stunned delight.

I’m convinced by the way periodically decent releases are sent out to the masses to gage if we’ve lost our appetite for wholesome stuff yet. I know that’s silly, but as with many types of animals, I like to sometimes envision Hollyweird as being somehow more clever or intelligent than it is.

The media re-education commandants must have been so upset that after trying all they could to silence The Passion before it even hit the theaters, it was one of the biggest things ever to grace the screen. It’s a shame they aren’t smart enough to be tolerant of our values, but that I suppose is why they do what they do best: pretend.

It was part of her divorce settlement. In it, she declined all visitation rights. And she was good at following through too: staying out of his life until its end could bring her glitz time. Pretty shameful, and also shamefully ignored by MSM.
