"Ein umgestürzter Ausleger eines Mobilkrans liegt in Berlin-Mitte auf geparkten Autos.In der Nacht zu Freitag sind vier Fahrzeuge durch den umstürzenden Baukranausleger beschädigt worden. Menschen wurden bei dem Unfall in der Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse nicht verletzt, wie ein Polizeisprecher sagte. Die beschädigten drei Oberklassefahrzeuge und ein Taxi standen vor dem Domaquaree im Halteverbot. Fast komplett zerstört wurde eine Luxuslimousine der Botschaft von Bahrein."

An overturned arm belonging to a mobile construction crane stretches across four parked cars after it toppled over Friday night. No one was hurt in the accident along Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse in downtown Berlin, according to a police spokesperson. Among the crushed vehicles were three luxury sedans and a taxi, all of which were parked outside the DomAquarée. One sedan belonging to the Bahrain embassy was almost totally demolished. [trans. Are you 100% sure that wasn't caused by an Israeli missile? I mean, considering the damage taken by the cars in that picture they look worse than the ones being toted as "real attacks".

...all those poor, dead beamers....sigh...

You might have an idea there. I bet if I changed the caption to "official peace entourage destroyed by Israeli missile attack in Beirut", Reuters would pick it up - especially if I also airbrush in a few dead Arafats to make the loss all the greater ;)
