TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!

A material reality transcending dialect

Tonight the world waits with baited breath. 17 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall, The Soviet Union, Ceausescu, the beginning of the end for the regime in Beijing, Cuban transition may be upon us.

To the horror of Chavez, Kim Jong Il, Hu Jintao, Ahmadinejad, Assad, and the rest, a corner stone is crumbling.

Many reports are saying Castro’s less charismatic younger brother (75 year old Raul Castro) is poised to be a more radical and tight fisted ruler. But change, the loss of Fidel, and an even more insufferable belligerent in the presidential palace can also mean things are ripest for freedom's reprise.

Infidel Castrato’s upcoming demise may be the beginning of the end for the iron and clay feet of post-Soviet communism.

So watch out Tehran, Pyongyang, and Beijing, as the dominoes fall and consider this: Your time is coming up. As millions with the open fields of freedom in sight crush the gates of tyranny, the rusted iron bars and posts will soon give way and be utterly smashed into the ground in the insuing rush.

SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!

seems to me that in order to protect his friends in israel mr. bush has sided with cuba this yime.
see if he supports your rights in regards to "property confiscation" that would creat a precedent that is HIGHLY unfavorable to pro-israel lobbists and groupes.
LEAVE CUBA'S FUTURE GOV'NT TO THE CUBANS, THEN YOU CAN SEE ABOUT REDRESSING YOUR RIGHTS WITH THEM" yeah, right. the arabs have been trying to do that for the past 55 years.
GOOD LUCK
a friend

Mike, that makes utterly no sense, but perhaps that was given the late hour of the posting of your comment (the first time - the repeated postings that were exactly the same were removed to save the sanity of the reader).

Mike, a Comcast Cable user in east Tennessee, seems to side with radical Arabs who rejected the two-state solution adopted when the UN first recognized Israel over half a century ago, and still do today. It was the radical Arabs (and I don't say strictly “Islamofascist” because there were certainly non-religious elements politically aligned with the Soviets and Castro's Cuba – I recall your mentioning Cuba) who refused to accept the idea of living side by side in peace, not just then, but every time Israel has put serious concessions on the table. In fact, as you might recall, during the Camp David peace talks hosted by US President Bill Clinton, the Israelis put almost everything on the table Arafat had demanded, and Arafat walked away. The Saudi ambassador in Washington later referred to Arafat's decision as a criminal act against the people of Palestine. While the radical elements Mike seems to support still chant slogans calling for Israel to be “wiped off the map”, Mike seems to either have out of lack of understanding or some great, pained delusion come to the conclusion that the conflict over there, as no doubt Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney would put it, is nothing more than a cabal of Bush and the Zionists to kick elderly Palestinian women out of their homes. Such cases of delusion are always unfortunate, but help to illustrate why informed, rational debate is rather the only way to truly accomplish anything, especially to bring peace.
