Tiananmen Square: Resistance is Beautiful

This video commemorates the 18th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre, 4 June 1989 and the heroes who willingly gave life for liberty to show those who followed the way.

Blogbat supports and is in solidarity with the Chinese people yearning for nothing more than to be free. Let them take what is rightfully theirs; let freedom reign and eradicate the backward, brutal Communist Party from every segment of Chinese government. Let Hu Jintao yield to democracy or let him hang like Ceausescu.

Did you hear any of Bush's speeches and comments today? Some of them were almost like Reagan ... almost. Some Europeans "get it" when it comes to the threat from Iran, communism. I'm proud of them.

One quote that I found interesting from President Bush concerning China was this one: "China's leaders believe that they can continue to open the nation's economy without also opening its political system. We disagree." So put it into policy. Disagreeing with words and agreeing with actions will reap the reward the actions, not the words, demand. Clinton talked even tougher, and as we know, Beijing all but owned that administration.

Our fair president seems almost as unwell as Jimmy Carter where it concerns understanding the things which make the Communist state more complex than the garden-variety tyranny or two-bit dictatorship. I suppose that isn't too different from the elder Bush however, although at least he to some small degree seemed to benefit from his close proximity to President Reagan. ;)
