Dems Trashing Flags Reveals a Dangerous Philosophy

 

 

So Dems were caught throwing away their flags.

 

That’s what McCain’s camp said.

 

Apparently, after the speech of the world’s savior, the flags were tossed in the trash, until some vendor – and good citizen – picked up the ones strewn on the floor and the trash bags full of them, and rescued them from their impending fate. The Boy Scouts were then called in to pull the flags out of those trash bags, sort them, and make them ready for a new home, which turns out just so happens to be among McCain fans at his Colorado Springs rally. One can’t find a more appropriate symbol for what is typically so wrong with the thinking on the left and what is so right about the right.

 

Just like so many in the liberal leadership around the country who claim to support a cause until it’s no longer of any use to them, be it women’s rights, racial discrimination, the environment, staying out of international conflicts, workers’ rights, religious tolerance, and science, many of those libs, like good Leninists, are ready to discard even the symbol of our great nation at a moment’s notice. This is simple to explain of course, if on realizes that those causes and banners are merely a way for such on the left to achieve the goal they really seek, which is a very grey Orwellian socialism. That is, a socialism where nobody drives a car, except the powerful ideological elite, no woman or minorities are protected unless they agree to serve the ideological elite, no speech is protected unless it promotes the ideological elite, no science is safe unless it is deemed useful to the ideological elite (which is why the scientific fact abortion kills a human being can be ignored), no war is to be waged unless it conforms to the geostrategy or political necessity of the ideological elite (which is why Bill Clinton involved the U.S. in more conflicts than any other U.S. president), and no religion is to be had except that which conforms itself to the “gospel” of the ideology of the elite. Indeed, nothing is said or done, bought or sold, conceived or brought forth, unless it conforms to the whim of the ideological elite.

 

The idea that our flag should be thrown in the trash the moment it no longer provides political use to the far left which dominates the modern Democrat party should come as no surprise. This, after all, is now the party of ACLU-founder Roger  Baldwin, Eugenicist Margaret Sanger, and Soviet-infatuator and father of modern public schools and academic and political illiteracy John Dewey. All of whom thought Marx and Lenin (and Hitler) were pretty clever guys, because, they believed, those men were ruthless enough to get the job done. Say whatever it takes, hold your nose and promote whatever cause it takes, even act patriotic as long as it takes to attain your nefarious goal. Incidentally, that is why it should be no surprise, in fact, if we see the American flag begin to be maligned in schools and across this nation just as the Confederate flag is today, even though the South had almost as many slaves as did the North, but treated freemen, Irish, American Indians, Jewish, and women with far more dignity than did the North (as history later shows us, this was especially the case with the American Indian). So, too, the U.S. flag, despite symbolizing freedom and the best the world has to offer in terms of human rights – and the country with the most progress in areas of human and civil rights where it lacked, will be treated as the flag of intolerance, injustice, and eternal evil. Just wait. It’s already beginning to creep from the dark recesses of the untra-extreme left into classrooms and other mainstream fare. So we shouldn’t be surprised at some point when the liberal elite discard the flag on much more open and grand a scale; keeping it will simply no longer be useful to them.
