CNN Saves Girl from Reflection

It seems we are rife with hypocrisy this election cycle.

Democrat challenger to Senator Elizabeth Dole’s seat attended a fundraiser for an extremist atheist hate group in September that seeks to eliminate every mention of God on our money, in our Pledge, and everywhere else it might be found in the public eye. When Elizabeth Dole made an ad exposing this dangerous association between a mainstream candidate and extremists such as the Godless Americans PAC, the Democrat, Kay Hagen, retorted Dole’s was just a dirty attack ad.

Of course, what do you do when someone has you on the ropes of facts? Run to your MSM friends at CNN, who will try to spin you out of your troubles. Hagen, as if it somehow canceled out her flirting with Atheist-jihadists, protested that she regularly attends church, suggesting that her regular attendance at church proved Dole had her facts wrong.

Really?

Actually, by the logic I’m using, if you did both, Ms. Hagen, you are a hypocrite.

Going to church while you visit the home of those wishing to wipe faith off the map doesn't undo your visit any more than throwing sugar in the soup after you've addded too much salt makes it less salty. Instead, you should have played up your atheist sensibilities, even if they were less popular than the beliefs held by most North Carolinians. At least no one could fault you for being genuine.

Just ask Barack Obama.
