How to Out-Do Jimmy Carter in Three Short Months

 

 

If anyone is keeping score this is the current board:

 

Israel reaches out to new administration –> is snubbed by Obama, who not only has made critical remarks, has funded Israel’s enemy the deadly terrorists Hamas to the tune of $900 million. Not only does Obama seem to dislike you Israel, he seems to hope your families parish.

 

Great Britain extends its hand of friendship to the new administration –> is snubbed by Obama, who not only refused to meet with PM Brown during his visit to Washington, he half-heartedly attempted to make up for it by giving Brown a bundle of North American DVDs. Like so much that’s wrong with Obama’s foreign friends’ and enemies’ lists, the DVDs failed to work and simply displayed “out of region”.

 

Obama reaches out to North Korea –> which in turn responds kindly by preparing its long-range missile launch.

 

Obama extends friendship to China –> which then snubs Obama by attacking unarmed U.S. naval vessels in international waters and telling the world it had significant doubts about U.S. solvency.

 

Obama Reaches out to Russia, promising not to install the missile shield in Europe –> Russia, still laughing at the fact that no one at the Russian Desk in the State Department was able to get the Russian right on the “reset” button Hillary handed them on her last visit, installs bombers in Venezuela and Cuba, becomes bolder about its arms relationship with Iran, etc.

 

 

 

Obama says kumbaya to Iran –> Iran responds with shrug, toothless grin, returns to screwing nuclear warhead atop Russian missile.

 

No wonder Carter looked so glum during his visit to the White House. The king of malaise has been dethroned.
